The Community Development Department performs a variety of services intended to protect, maintain and develop an attractive, safe and healthy community.

The Community Development Department is comprised of the Building and Planning Divisions, and is responsible for building permits, as well as advance and current planning activities.  These divisions work to ensure that new construction and additions to existing structures meet the policies and guidelines that have been established.
